
Backstory
Mickey Revenaugh’s writing appears in VICE, The Fix, Catapult, Chautauqua, Cleaver, Louisiana Literature, and Los Angeles Review of Books, among others. She was a finalist for the New Millennium Award for Nonfiction, the Diana Woods Memorial Award in Creative Nonfiction and the Penelope Niven Creative Nonfiction Award from the Center for Women Writers, and a semi-finalist for the American Short Fiction Prize. Her short story collection, The Airport Series, was short-listed for the Unleash Press 2022 Book Prize. In January 2023, she proudly took the gavel as Board Chair for Yellow Arrow Publishing, a non-profit press supporting women writers.
Mickey has an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College, an MBA from New York University, and a BA in American Studies from Yale University.
She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
